Dan’s experience in construction began when he was facility and construction manager for Wil Research Laboratories in Ashland, Ohio. During their Facility Improvement Program in the early 1990’s, Dan oversaw the 13 million-dollar expansion program on behalf of Wil Research. This experience convinced Dan to pursue a career in the construction industry.
In 1997, Dan left Wil Research and joined Jennings and Churella Construction Company in Wellington, Ohio as a Project Manager. While at Jennings and Churella, Dan managed various commercial projects totaling more than 50 million dollars.
In 2000, Dan joined the Simonson Companies as a project manager in the Builders Division. His successful management of several large industrial projects proved that he had the skills Mr. Simonson was looking for to head up the management of the Excavation Division. In 2002, Dan became Senior Manager of the Excavation Division where he oversee’s all estimating, project management and scheduling activities. In 2004, he was promoted to Vice President and became a partner in the firm.
