The Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone Park expanded its RV park resort in Northeast Ohio to accommodate more campers at its one-of-a-kind park. Simonson Construction was honored to perform a full suite of site development services, concrete work, directional drilling, and design-build services for this project.
Specific park enhancements within our scope of work included:
- New seasonal camping area with 44 full hookup sites.
- New overnight camping area with 71 full hookup sites.
- Upgrades to 63 RV sites.
- Approximately 150,000 SF of asphalt roads throughout the site.
- Installation of a new 25,000-gallon-per-day wastewater treatment plant.
- Removal of existing wastewater treatment plant.
- Installation of 2,600 SF of concrete sidewalks and 5,400 SF of concrete parking areas.
- Site entrance improvements.
- Upgraded water lines, sewer lines, and electric lines throughout the entire resort.
- Installation of wi-fi towers throughout the park.
- Design-build services for a new laundry facility/washhouse comprised of 5 restrooms and showers with ADA accessibility.
The abovementioned upgrades have given Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone Park an advantage in providing outdoor fun for the entire family.
