The original Salvation Army Community Kroc Center was built in 2008 and Simonson Construction served as the General Contractor for the project. Simonson was awarded the General Contractor role again in 2020 when the community center decided to break ground on a 20,000 SF indoor waterpark, fitness center and welcome space. The new addition has provided the Ashland community with a family friendly place to gather.
